Psychology
With a comprehensive foundation in the psychological sciences—including theory, research and practice—»¨¶ùÖ±²¥â€™s Psychology program prepares students for successful careers in this dynamic and multifaceted field.
Majoring in Psychology at »¨¶ùÖ±²¥ is an exciting and meaningful life experience that combines the scientific study of the mind and the study of behavior
During your undergraduate years you will learn the foundations of psychological science, involve yourself in the discipline by working in the field, carry out research of your own design, and attend national or regional professional conferences.
Incorporating theory, research and practice, the program fosters an atmosphere of mutual respect and encourages individual challenge. The department’s small size allows you to interact one-on-one with »¨¶ùÖ±²¥â€™s faculty of practicing psychologists, acclaimed teachers and researchers.
Two components make our program distinctive: first-hand experience in the field, and the selection of a personal research focus through the field placement requirement and senior research project.
