2022-23 Additional Details
Tuition for the Adult Degree Completion program is $500 per unit. If a student enrolls in between 12 - 18 units in a semester then tuition converts to a flat fee of $12,000. If a student exceeds 18 units in a semester, an additional $500 per unit over 18 units will be assessed.
All Adult Degree Completion undergraduate students are assessed the following fees for each semester attended:
- $420 non-refundable Campus Comprehensive Fee
- $100 Technology Fee

Financial Aid: Scholarships, Grants, Loans and Work-Study
Scholarships and grants are types of aid that do not have to be repaid and that can help to directly reduce your tuition expenses. Eligibility is usually based on academic merit, financial need and/or talent in specific areas.

Types of Scholarships
Adult Degree Completion (ADC) Scholarship
Adult Degree Completion Program Scholarships are available based on financial need and level of enrollment.
- Awarded based on level of enrollment and the SAI calculated by FAFSA
- Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 units/semester) to be eligible
Crankstart Re-entry Scholarship
The Crankstart Foundation assists students who have had an interruption of five or more years in obtaining their first baccalaureate degree.
- Who is it for? Undergraduate students.
- Criteria: Experienced a cumulative gap in the pursuit of a first Bachelor's degree of five or more years.
- Amount: Up to $5,000 that must be applied towards tuition and fees and/or up to $1,000 that may be used at the student鈥檚 discretion.
- How to apply: Submit a 2023-24 Re-Entry scholarship application (), the 2022-23 FAFSA, the 2023-24 , and maintain at least half-time enrollment (6 units per semester).
- Essay: Applicants must submit a typed essay (one page, maximum) explaining why they experienced an interruption and why resuming their undergraduate education is important to them. Please highlight any challenges and/or hardships endured as well as any academic qualifications, achievements, and your commitment towards obtaining the degree.
Osher Re-entry Scholarship
The Bernard Osher Foundation assists students who have had an interruption of five or more years in obtaining their first baccalaureate degree.
- Who is it for? Undergraduate students.
- Criteria: Experienced a cumulative gap in the pursuit of a first Bachelor's degree of five or more years.
- Amount: Up to $5,000 that must be applied towards tuition and fees.
- How to apply: Submit a 2022-23 Re-Entry scholarship application PDF or .
- Essay: Applicants must submit a typed essay (one page maximum) explaining why they experienced an interruption and why resuming their undergraduate education is important to them. Please highlight any challenges and/or hardships endured as well as any academic qualifications, achievements, and your commitment towards obtaining the degree.
AAUW Marin Ann Ruane Lubamersky Scholarship
The AAUW Marin Ann Ruane Lubamersky Scholarship assists female students who have had an interruption of five or more years in obtaining their first baccalaureate degree.
- Who is it for? Female, re-entry undergraduate students who live in Marin and have financial need; student must show academic excellence and be pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Criteria: Experienced a cumulative gap in the pursuit of a first Bachelor's degree of five or more years.
- Amount: Up to $6,000 scholarship that must be applied towards tuition and fees.
- How to apply: Submit a 2022-23 Re-Entry scholarship application (PDF or ), 2022-23 FAFSA, , and maintain at least half-time enrollment (6 units per semester).
- Essay: Applicants must submit a typed essay (one page, maximum) explaining why they experienced an interruption and why resuming their undergraduate education is important to them. Adult Degree students and their families have access to federal loans to help meet their cost of attending 花儿直播.
How to Apply
In order to become eligible, submit a FAFSA and federal loans will be included in your financial aid award.

Work-Study is an optional form of self-help aid that allows students to apply for on-campus employment (or off-campus work with one of our community service partners) to earn extra money toward their college expenses.
How to Apply
To be considered for Federal Work-Study, submit a FAFSA and contact the Office of Financial Aid. To learn about other opportunities, visit our Work-Study page.
Billing and Payment
A payment plan is available to all students. Once you are registered, visit Student Billing to learn how to establish a payment plan.
For questions about your billing statement and/or the charges that appear on it, please contact the Business Services Office. For information on the University鈥檚 Tuition Refund policy, please visit Business Services Policies.
- The balance on your student account is due by the published due date, regardless of the status of your financial aid. If a balance is paid and then financial aid is applied, any credit balance will be refunded to the student.
- All students receiving financial aid (grants, scholarships, loans, and/or work-study) must submit the 花儿直播 Financial Aid Application.
- Students interested in borrowing loans or finding a work-study position must also submit the FAFSA.

Anticipated Financial Aid will show on your billing statement once all required items are received and processed by the Office of Financial Aid.

The number of anticipated units of enrollment reported on the 花儿直播 Financial Aid Application must match the number of units in which the student enrolls in order for anticipated aid to be reflected on the account statement. If they don't match, the student will need to notify the Office of Financial Aid to resolve.

If your financial aid is not finalized before the dates below, it may not show on your first student account statement for the term.
